Experience: I have been taking photographs for
as long as I can remember. When I was around eight
years old, my parents gave me a 110 camera and I've
been shooting ever since. My first photography class
was in the 7th grade, and I've never stopped. I have
been shooting weddings and portraits since I became a
stay-at-home mom in 2006.
Equipment
I use a Canon 40D camera
and several lenses, plus a Canon digital rebel as a
backup.
Photography Style
I shoot mainly in a
photojournalistic style, capturing natural moments and
small details, but I also pose shots during a
session. I love to capture my subjects being
themselves!
Other information
I love to be a small
part of your story. Capturing your wedding, moments
from your engagement, the birth of your precious baby,
or your growing family is so exhilarating to me. I
enjoy capturing the posed moments and the natural
connections between husbands and wives, moms and their
brand new babies, siblings and everything in
between.
I photograph everything: from pregnant bellies
to weddings to families to swim teams. I am located in
southern California, but am available for travel
worldwide. My style is somewhat hard to describe - I'm
a mix of classic and modern, fun and serious, and
sometimes a little silly. I love catching natural
expressions, little details, and the personalities of
the people I photograph. I also believe photographs
should be affordable so I strive to keep it that way!
